Our first Kids Club event!
This event is for members only and will take place during pick up this weekend (Friday5-7, Saturday 9-11)
We will be painting a mural together at this first event! We will have some oversized shirts available for use as paint smocks but you may want to dress in old clothes.
Ever want to try your hand at running a sawmill? Learn how to turn logs into lumber Right here at Bubbaloo Farm. Each participant in the class will get time running the mill to gain an appreciation of what goes into making a usable board. The mill is a small band saw mill which is more efficient and much less intimidating than the old circular blade mills. Learn to unlock the beauty hiding inside a log.
$25 for the class, can be purchased in our online store. Limited spaces available. July 21st will be the last day to register so supplies can be purchased.
Learn the joy of creating something wonderful with hand tools. Each participant in this class will build a small end table using hand tools to cut and fasten the components. Take away the knowledge and confidence to continue and enjoy the world of woodworking.

An introduction to chainsaws, how they work, and how to use them. While this is not an in-depth certification on the use of chainsaws, it is an opportunity to get hands on time running a saw safely and let the chips fly. Various saws of different sizes are available for use, with plenty of time cutting to give you a good feel for the process. Please RSVP Viaemail at Kirkwood@bubbaloofarm.com by June 20th. 'Tis the season for campfires, and knowing some proper wood splitting techniques for safety and efficiency can save time, and a toe. Wood splitting is all about finding the method that works best for you with as little fatigue as possible. So whether you plan to split a little kindling or build up a few chord of firewood, having the right technique can make it an enjoyable project. Come celebrate our 5th year with our best Open House yet!
Learn about our CSA, meet the animals, and see how a small family run farm works. There will be music, demonstrations, a Bubbaloo Handmade Pop-Up Shop, and a pig roast!!!
Pig Roast will be served from 2-4 (or until we run out of food) at $15/plate [$10 for CSA members]. The pig is one of our raised pigs, prepared by Steele Sausage and Catering
Join us on Saturday, April 16th from 9-2 for our 4th annual Open House! Meet the animals, see what a small family farm is like, learn about the meats we raise, ask questions about our CSA and buy a share. You can also check out what Bubbaloo Farm Handmade has to offer!

Come out to see all the new additions to the farm this year! The gardens are bigger and better; there is a new cutting garden for herbs and flowers; our small herd of cows has been growing this winter; a new herd of pigs are making themselves at home; and the chicken coops are bustling with feathered employees busy making eggs.
